‘Nabella’ is a new introduction that produces juicy black fruits, which can be made into all manner of culinary delights. The fruits provide a delicious complement for soups, pork dishes, cakes, tarts and pies. They taste especially good with an assortment of chocolate or as a main ingredient for a variety of liqueurs, jams, preserves and drinks. Unlike ‘Morello’, this variety exhibits resistance to dieback. Self-fertile, this tree will produce fruit without a partner and makes an excellent pollinator of self-sterile varieties.
