A compact variety which is especially recommended for small gardens. A large mid season apple which was raised in England from Peasgood’s Nonsuch x Ribston Pippin. It was first recorded in 1904 when it received the Award of Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Disease resistance is good and it produces very large juicy fruits with an unique, tangy flavour.
