Laxton’s Superb is a reliable Victorian variety. The medium-sized green apples flushed with red have a definitive tart flavour and are borne in heavy, regular crops in November. The apples have very good keeping qualities and can be stored until February in cold, dry conditions. Laxton apples have a firm texture and are one of the tastiest apples grown in British gardens.
