Kidd’s Orange Red is an easy-to-grow apple tree variety which produces sweet, crisp apples, which are ready for harvesting in mid September. Its medium sized fruits, which are deliciously tangy, have pale green to pale yellow skin and creamy white flesh that slightly mellows with age. The fruits taste best freshly picked from the tree or can be used as an addition to desserts or pressed juices. This fruiting tree has been awarded the Award of Garden Merit given by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), which helps gardeners make informed choices about plants.
