A traditional French variety with an opulent “melting” flavour
Raised in 1849, this late pear boasts an excellent rich, sweet, and aromatic flavour. The flesh of each pear is creamy white in colour, and has a melting, highly juicy texture. This tree’s fruits are large, but its cropping can be irregular. To ensure that it flourishes, we advise that you plant in a warm, sheltered site. Unsuitable for the north.
