Very late season dessert variety with small stones
One of the late black cherry varieties, this tree fruits heavy and regular crops when paired with a self-fertile variety. The fruits are large, sweet, and full of juice, and with noticebly smaller stones. Colney originates from the Summerland Research Station and was selected for its fruits resistance to cracking, which occurs during heavy summer rains.
